Alvin HOPE is a hand up, not a hand out.  We're here to lend each other a helping hand.  Sometimes all we need is a little extra help. Food, clothes, maybe just mowing the yard. Alvin HOPE (Helping Other People Everyday) is a group specifically for (asking or lending) a helping hand.
